Wet lashes

Because he wants to go downstairs and I'm not done with chores.

Our Sunday

Ryo says:
Our Sunday started really well, with cool breezes. I spotted a balloon floating by and ran after it to claim it mine.

I lost hold of it and I had to run for it again. And again. And again. 妞妞 even helped me.

I had to stop after I got an earful from mama.

So we had to engage in another of our favourite activity--sprinting. The winner gets to sing the national anthem. I can't even sing so I always try to run last.

Race 1.

Race 2. *panting like a dog*

Race 3.

Race 4. Decided to cheat a bit, but still don't have to sing.

Suddenly it dawned upon mama that we were to go to papa's new office. They had firecrackers I heard.

Do you see what I see, papa? *whistle*

I got so hungry I could not make it in time for the restaurant lunch, mama bought me popcorn from a small window. It was a HONEYDEW flavoured popcorn. Don't go YEW, it's pretty yummy. And it costs just RMB6 for a big bagful.

Change of season

Mama Ann says:
There a good thing about staying in China, or any country with 4 seasons, that is you get to change your wardrobe, and I mean the entire one.

When we are in Singapore, we wear shoes all year round. Here in summer, kids wear only sleeveless shirt and slippers, not wrap-round shoes. They are pretty particular, and it makes sense due to the weather.

And actually my main point is I bought 2 very cute clothing for Ryo, for 2 simple reasons. 1. I dun get to dress him up as I could if it's a girl. 2. He cannot be dressed up this way when he gets bigger.

So, tada, these are the two costumes. I'll try to take some pics of him when autumn is really here. Stay tuned.

Role reversal

Mama Ann says:

Well, Chen-jie has been bringing Ryo to the playground for the past few weeks. Meanwhile I stayed at home to do the housework. It's kind of silly, you may think, to pay for a maid then do the housework myself... haha.

But really I enjoy the time alone. The fact is Ryo is having his stick-to-mama-all-the-time syndrome again, even peeing and shower time, so I really need to get him away from him.

And we decided not to send him to school this September, I think he's not ready yet.Though I have to get Chenjie to play with him more.

Clubmed Bintan

Ryo says:

Yippee, we went to Clubmed at Bintan right after my birthday. It was totally fun-packed with swimming and beach activities.

Since the Olympics is just around the corner, I took this opportunity to showcase my water-jumping skills, I hope I'll make it into the 2024 games.
